I lead service development for financial services at Amazon Web Services, where I built AWS's first industry-specific product team. Our job is to turn what banks, exchanges, and insurers need from the cloud into features AWS actually ships, and to support the technical community that helps those customers build.

I've spent twenty years at the intersection of markets and technology: running product for CME Group's data business, building early cloud offerings at NASDAQ, and leading research on institutional trading at Aite Group. These days I spend a lot of my time hands-on with generative AI, building agentic systems and the tools that make teams faster.

I started out as an Army broadcast journalist during Desert Storm and wrote software for years before moving into product. I live in Colorado, splitting my time between the Front Range and the mountains.
